In the match between Uruguay and Ghana held at the same time, Uruguay won 2-0, but Korea advanced to the second round with more goals in the group stage.

Before the match against Portugal, Korea was in a very difficult situation.
Kim Min-jae, a key defensive player, was injured, Son Heung-min was not in good shape, and Hwang Hee-chan also appeared for the first time in this game because of an injury.
The Korean team's coach, Bento, did not appear in the match against Portugal because he was sent off in the match against Ghana.
But Korea has created a miracle.

It is the first time in 12 years that Korea has advanced to the second round of the World Cup again since the World Cup in South Africa in 2010.
The fighting spirit of the Korean players produced a valuable victory.
